If you want to get an ex boyfriend back after you’ve gone through a breakup, does whether or not he wants you back really matter? Your reflex answer is probably yes, but there’s more to it than that. The answer is hinged upon the effort you will put forth in the face of difficult oddsand in the morals and ethics you hold.
This is what I mean. In an abstract sense, you can reunite with your boyfriend whether or not he’s been thinking about reuniting. Often this very thing happens. A man who wants to breakup for good is persuaded to give it another shot. In some sense, it doesn’t matter if he’s excited about getting together again or not. If you want him back and you use the right plan, you can have him in your life.
Still there are some considerations you should keep in mind.
In the first place, the less interested he is in rebuilding the relationship, getting him back becomes more difficult. Remember that I said difficult-not totally impossible. So, on a certain level his interest will matter. A lot more effort will be needed to get your relationship back if he’s 100% against it.
Secondly, you should really consider the ethics of getting back with your ex if a second chance is not something he wants. If you have great strategies and tactics to get him back, you should think about his wants and how your efforts will end up fitting in with this.
Third, if he doesn’t want to get back together, you should stop to check your own motivations. Many times, efforts trying to rekindle a relationship when one person is totally against it have underlying motives of jealousy or trying to prove something than really about getting back true love.
Does it matter whether or not he wants to get back with you No and yes. It becomes easier for you to work on getting the relationship back if he wants that too! It also matters in terms of your own individual sense of responsibility.
The bottom line, however, is that you can get your ex boyfriend back. Even if he’s not really excited about getting back together, you can get over a breakup and start making up.
